What Is an Insect Bite Consultation?

An insect bite consultation helps determine severity, infection risk, and appropriate care. During your visit, your provider will:

What We Review During Your Consultation:
  • Bite location, size, and severity
  • Allergic reaction signs and systemic symptoms
  • Risk of infection or secondary complications
  • Recommendations for topical or oral treatment
  • Follow-up guidance and symptom monitoring

Why Early Evaluation Matters

In-home visits reduce exposure and ensure prompt care. UrgentCare2Go® helps patients:

  • Identify potential allergic reactions
  • Assess risk of infection
  • Receive proper topical or oral medications
  • Learn monitoring and prevention strategies

How to Prepare for Your UrgentCare2Go

Create a Clean and Comfortable Environment:

  • Ensure the area for your UrgentCare2Go service is clean and has sufficient space for our equipment and staff to move around comfortably
  • Please ensure you are ready at the scheduled appointment time

Secure All Pets in an Enclosed Area:

  • Of course, we love pets! However, for the safety and comfort of everyone, please ensure all pets are secured in a separate, enclosed space during the visit
