When you or a family member needs medical attention, traveling to a clinic can add more stress to an already difficult day. UrgentCare2go™ brings professional medical care to eligible patients at home, work, or another approved Texas location.

Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP employees enrolled in the High Plains Health Plan Option 4 may be eligible to receive care through participating Employers Health Network providers. Verify your benefits and network participation before scheduling a mobile visit.

What Does the KPA Plan Include?

The available plan information lists the following office-visit costs for the High Plains Health Plan Option 4:

  • $0 copay for a primary care visit

  • $0 copay for a specialist visit

A $0 office-visit copay does not mean every service is provided at no cost. Mobile visits, laboratory testing, medications, procedures, medical supplies, imaging, and other services may be processed separately.

Your actual responsibility may depend on:

  • Current eligibility

  • Medical necessity

  • Network participation

  • Deductible or coinsurance requirements

  • Prior authorization

  • The services provided

  • Plan exclusions and limitations

An insurance card does not guarantee coverage or payment. For scheduling assistance, call UrgentCare2go at (817) 508-8169.

Eligible KPA employees and their covered family members may be able to use UrgentCare2go for many non-emergency medical concerns.

Before booking a mobile visit, contact HPI at (877) 734-6692 and ask:

  • Does UrgentCare2go participate with my specific KPA plan?

  • Is a mobile medical visit covered?

  • Does the $0 primary care copay apply to this visit?

  • What deductible, coinsurance, or additional cost may apply?

  • Are laboratory tests, medications, procedures, or supplies billed separately?

  • Is prior authorization required?

  • Will I have a time-of-service responsibility?

  • Are there service-area or network restrictions?

Write down the representative’s name, the date of the call, and the reference number provided.

Is Prior Authorization Required?

Prior authorization depends on the service being requested and the requirements of the member’s plan.

Members and providers should contact HPI at (877) 734-6692 before receiving a service that may require approval. Ask whether authorization must be obtained by the member, ordering provider, or treating provider.

Prior authorization does not guarantee claim payment. Current eligibility, medical necessity, network participation, plan exclusions, and other requirements may affect how the claim is processed.

What Network Does the Plan Use?

The KPA High Plains Health Plan Option 4 uses the EHN Preferred Network. This network includes Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance providers who have chosen to participate.

Not every Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance provider participates in the EHN Preferred Network. Members should confirm that UrgentCare2go and the treating medical professional participate with their exact plan before receiving care.

To locate or verify an in-network provider:

  • Use the EHN Provider Search

  • Call HPI at (877) 734-6692

  • Contact BSWQA Care Navigation at 1-844-279-7589

Provide the employer name, plan name, member identification number, requested service, and service location when confirming participation.

Are Specialist Referrals Required?

The available KPA plan information does not list a general specialist-referral requirement.

Certain specialist visits, tests, treatments, or procedures may still require prior authorization. Contact HPI before beginning specialist care to confirm the current referral and authorization requirements for your plan.
