Curative Insurance and Mobile Medical Care at Home

Verify Your Benefits Before Requesting Mobile CareUploaded Image

When you are sick or need medical guidance, traveling across town and sitting in a waiting room may be the last thing you want to do. UrgentCare2go® offers a different option by bringing medical care to eligible Curative members at home or another appropriate location.

UrgentCare2go accepts Curative insurance for eligible services. The mobile-care model combines a scheduled visit at the patient’s location with clinical support appropriate for many non-emergency health concerns.

Medical Care Where You Feel Comfortable

A mobile appointment may be useful for patients experiencing common illnesses such as sore throat, cough, congestion, fever, flu-like symptoms, nausea, vomiting, urinary discomfort, minor rashes, allergies, or other non-life-threatening concerns.

UrgentCare2go also provides primary-care services for patients who need help managing ongoing health needs. Depending on the situation, this may include routine follow-up care, chronic-condition monitoring, medication discussions, bloodwork, screenings, or lifestyle counseling.

The medical team will evaluate the patient and determine which services are appropriate. Some symptoms may require testing, imaging, specialist care, or evaluation at a higher level of care.

Curative Coverage Can Vary

Even when a healthcare provider accepts your insurance company, your exact coverage depends on your individual plan. Network rules, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, authorizations, and covered services may vary.

Before requesting your visit, contact Curative or review your member benefits to confirm:

  • UrgentCare2go’s current network participation

  • Coverage for the type of appointment you need

  • Your expected out-of-pocket responsibility

  • Whether laboratory tests or treatments are separate

  • Whether your plan requires authorization or a referral

Visit the UrgentCare2go Curative insurance page for additional information. Coverage should always be confirmed directly with the health plan before receiving care.

Preparing for Your Mobile Appointment

The scheduling process begins with a ZIP-code service check. After choosing an available appointment window, you will enter the patient’s information and provide the required payment or insurance details.

Because the medical team travels between appointments, patients receive an estimated three-hour arrival window rather than an exact arrival time. A medical assistant will send a text when the team is traveling to the appointment.

Have a government-issued photo ID, insurance card, medication list, allergy information, and relevant medical records available. An adult must remain present throughout the visit, and household pets should be placed in a secure area.

Serving Patients Across Texas

Mobile service is available in many communities throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Arlington, Farmers Branch, Brownwood, Austin, Houston, El Paso, and San Antonio. Availability depends on the patient’s address and the current appointment schedule.

Mobile urgent care is not a replacement for emergency services. Call 911 immediately for severe chest pain, major trauma, stroke symptoms, serious breathing problems, uncontrolled bleeding, or loss of consciousness.
